At Implant Education Academy, we’re not just teaching techniques — we’re sharing what we live and breathe every day in the clinic. Founded by Dr. Josh Nolde and Dr. Marcio Maia, two dentists who have walked very different paths to arrive at the same passion, the academy was born from a shared belief: that implant dentistry deserves better education, rooted in real-world practice.

Josh and Marcio may have grown up in different parts of Brazil—Josh in the south, in Rio Grande do Sul, and Marcio in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro—but their paths crossed through a shared passion: helping people smile again, for real.

They’re not in it for the titles or the accolades. For them, dentistry, especially implant work, is deeply personal. It’s about giving someone back the freedom to laugh, eat, speak, and live without hesitation. It’s about the quiet confidence that returns when someone finally sees themselves in the mirror and feels whole again.

They’ve both spent years improving their expertise and learning more day after day, but more than that, they believe in passing it on. Because in their eyes, any dentist with the right guidance and heart can learn to do this life-changing work. And that’s exactly what they’re here for.
